Rivercrest Bluffs consists of 14.78 acres in west Fort Worth located on the bluffs of the Trinity River. The property was formerly occupied by a mobile home park. The property was heavily treed and inhabited by many unsightly trailer homes. As a result, it was difficult to capture the breathtaking views of the Trinity River and the surrounding bluffs. After property acquisition, the trailer park was vacated and many of the trees were pruned and debris hauled away. This opened up a view corridor to the east and downtown and to the west of further meandering river and bluff views.
This infill development offers breathtaking views across the Trinity River to the Rivercrest and Westover Hills areas and lies between the new upscale residential neighborhoods of Westworth Park to the west and Idlewild to the east.
The strategy was to entitle the property to a single family residential development, taking advantage of the wonderful natural resources of the river and the surrounding bluffland. We worked with a highly qualified residential land planner to develop a housing community with appropriate density and outstanding amenity features.
